Food was super delicious. We liked garlic nan, chicken tikka and chicken masala. It was yummy. Will surely recommend this restaurant to everyone.
Excellent authentic Indian with Vegan/Vegetarian options. Great set combo meals that really fill you up!!
An Indian curry restaurant next to a train station in Japan - not your typical dinner choice. The food here was great. Flavours were on point. Highly recommend the dinner set as the contents were great, especially the chicken.Staff were friendly and spoke English. A tad pricier than what I'd pay in Melbourne, but a great meal regardless.
Best Indian we’ve ever had. Close to station, nice staff, fair price for quantity and quality, around 1800 yen for a very big meal with drinks. Perfect English, cares for their customer. Very authentic.
Good Indian food, lots of dishes, fair price (around 1400 yen for a person including a drink).Service was great. The Mango Lacy was outstanding.Would definitely recommend this place if visiting Hiroshima.
Very good Indian restaurant. The man Tarun parihar was very polite.Nice food with great hospitality.
Incredible food and lovely staff.
Nice Indian food
It's not indian food at all...
Roopali Indian Restaurant is located in Hiroshima city, Japan. We visited there last month for lunch .we ordered butter naan ,Dal tadka, mix veg, kabuli chana ,chicken masala, rice, sweet dish. This was the best meal we ate. Great service. Nice staff. No parking. I liked. Thanks.
Very tasty curries, the naan are really big and yummy. There were quite a few vegetarian options.
It used to be my fav Indian restaurant in the world! But the recent standard has dropped. :/
Great food and a nice place. Was really quite on a Tuesday night. They know vegan so can make you a good dish!
While we have been loving Japanese food the reviews for this place were too good to ignore. And it did not disappoint!! The servings were generous, the prices very reasonable and the food was delicious. We got the set dinner menus for 1,800JPY each and it was more food than either of us could finish! It included the biggest nan breads I’ve ever seen! Bigger than your head! We had the butter chicken and Matar mushroom curries which were both really good. The tandoori tikka was also tasty. Washed down with mango lassi and lychee juice. We almost had to roll ourselves out of there we ate so much! Would definitely recommend it for anyone who has tried the classic Hiroshima dishes and has time for something deliciously different.
Good to eat.
One of the very nice restaurant in Hiroshima, need to walk a bit from train station to this place. As soon as you enter, you'll find Sachin and Sharuks wallpaper inside the restaurant and that just gives you the very indian feeling. Deliciousood they have set thalis consisting of Naan mainly with two curries and a starter. Reasonable cost but one of good restaurant in Hiroshima. Must visit for Indians.
Quality Indian being in Japan, met our standards very well and great set menu price of 1,958 yen.
Delicious food and fantastic service. Highly recommended.
Super place for Indian food
My wife and I decided to dine on Indian food while visiting Hiroshima and came across Roopali in Google Maps. Since it was close to our rooms at the Sheraton Grand Hiroshima, we decided to give it a try. What a wonderful little gem of a restaurant! I have had Indian food on three continents and have never had as much flavor in a Tandoori dish. The Naan was made on the spot and was incredibly fresh and delicious. It was an excellent meal.
Great food, great servicio, great value
The Naan is amazing and comes out in a huge portion. For me, it wasn't the best curry I've had though. It felt like it was made only from dry spices and no flavor added via coconut milk or cream. Not personally the style of curry I like (I prefer creamy) and the butter chicken was cooked on a tandoori grill before being put into the curry, also something I'm not used to. Flavors were great though and it's a nice break from Japanese, Italian and French cuisine.
Tandoori chicken is good, but chicken curry is ok
Good restaurant for indian food.Very nice staff Service guy Tarun is nice personVery gentle man.Recoomend to everyone.
one of the better vegan food we got in Japan, definitely a recommend from us, they made us also a tasty vegan lassi
An amazing place to have delicious indian food at very reasonable prices ..The staff is very courteous and well versed in english.
Tasty butter chicken and very big naans. The mango lassi was also nice and we didn't have to wait long for the food. Good experience.
Best Indian Food in Japan. English and Japanese friendly. Short walk from Hiroshima Station.
Average Indian restaurant but it proximity to Hiroshima station makes it really convenient for Indian food lovers.
Incredible food. Simply the best Indian I have ever been to! 5 stars isn’t enough.
Friendly staff and great food! They speak English so it's easy for foreigners.
My friend brought me here last week and I put it on my list that I will come here next time for the good food and I hope to enjot the good taste !
Incredible Indian food! You can notice the small Japanese elements like the salad dressing and sticky jasmine rice. They have minimal use of dairy which makes the meal much easier to eat. The seasame naan was very cool and the soy milk mango lassi is a must try!
The food is just amazing accompanied with warm service. The best ...Deserves all the five stars.
I love their coconuts nan. Yummy. They don’t have a parking space, but there are some parking lots around.
Decent food. Roti is prepared well here. But Curries weren’t tasty, very average it was and not authentic. Mango lassi is tasty..!!
No doubt I give this one five stars. Unlike most of the Japanese places, the staff speaks English and care for your wishes, in our case certain food allergies. Instead with dairies, they prepared their wonderful curries with cashew based milk and it was absolutely delicious (although it could use a LITTLE bit more seasoning). They let you choose the hotness level for your dish and make an incredible good nan to enjoy your curry with. The rice is not the best, probably because they use Japanese rice to have a link with the locals. Super friendly staff, price is very legit. Go there, if you don't want Japanese food for a change.
Good quality.
One of the best Indian meals we've had this side of the subcontinent. The staff are very well informed and dutifully accommodating. The owner and front of house manager instantly recognized that we were vegan from the manner in which we ordered the naan without gee butter. We even changed our order to suit our requirements by asking the chefs to make roti instead of naan, a fine gesture. The food was excellent, as spicy as we ordered it, the dry curry was delicate and balanced. Very reasonably priced too. Easy enough to find on the north side of the main train station in Hiroshima, just to the east of the Sheraton hotel.Namaste.
I've been wanting Indian food for a while, and this was recommended by a friend so we decided to come here for dinner. I was ready to have some curry but to my surprise, all their curries are made with cashew nuts, and I'm allergic to nuts. I was so sad, but the waiter kindly pointed out that they offer 3 specific vegetarian curries that they can make nut-free. They didn't appeal to me, so I ended up ordering the Tandoori Mix and a garlic naan. The dish was so filling (I didn't finish it) and the naan was MASSIVE (I also didn't finish it). The flavours were great although a bit dry, and I didn't like that the garlic on the naan was burnt to the point of being bitter. I think I would've preferred the regular naan. I would love to come again but my nut allergy prevents me.
Great lunch! Very good flavors and the Nan is superb 😊Definitely worth a visit when your around Hiroshima.
Great Indian food
Nice and friendly restaurant
Feels good to eat indien food after over a month of Japanese food.I got the chicken coconut curry with a spinach nan, it was very testy. Biggest nan I’ve ever seen !My girlfriend got a daal as she is a vegetarian, was also delicious.Great atmosphere and good service as well.
Didn't like it at all. Utter disappointment! Naan was good though.
Excellent service and location. Food was very tasty. We enjoyed eating here.
I live in NYC and am visiting Japan. I wanted a break from Japanese food and stumbled onto this place from google and I’m so glad I did! This was the best meal I ate and Hiroshima and the best Indian food I’ve ever had. I wished I was staying an extra day so I could go again. Great service and prices as well. Highly recommend!!
